Larvistryn Clydesdales operates from Coolangatta Farm, Carrajung in the picturesque Gippsland area of Victoria, Australia.  With lush, green undulating paddocks, the property provides an ideal location for the breeding of fine Clydesdale horses.

Laurie and Nita Smith, in co-operation with Peter Cantwell of "Kilfane Clydesdales", operate Coolangatta Farm, treating all their animals "like family".  With a combined 30 years experience in breeding Clydesdales, Laurie and Peter strive to continuously improve the standard of the breed, in accordance with the Commonwealth Clydesdale Horse Society guidelines.  They breed a mixture of show and work horses both for sale and personal use.  They also offer quality breeding services.

Laurie began showing Clydesdales in 1975/76 and has enjoyed much success, evident by the vast quantity of prize ribbons which adorn the walls at Coolangatta Farm.

Peter began showing around 1997, and on his first appearance at the Royal Agricultural Show - Melbourne won a Third Place ribbon.

As well as providing world class stallions for stud services, Larvistryn Clydesdales also offer animals for sale.  Please browse the Photo Gallery to see the current animals on offer.

In addition to the horses, Larvistryn also offers a range of customised embroidery services from neck ties to bath towels.  Please view the Merchandise page for more information.
